Injury stricken Lions will have to face arch rivals Untouchables in this seasons second derby without three key players.

Daniel Paunkoski is out after pulling up sore from Sundays win against The Ting Goes. Our medical staff immediately examined Daniel the following day and X-ray results showed no breaks or fractures which was great news, however have diagnosed him with Metatarsalgia which will sit him out of this weekends derby. Daniel Paunkoski is set to return to training next week and is looking to return to the playing field in next weeks clash against Team B.

Miki Paunkoski is out with a strained Gluteus Maximus after aggravating the injury in Sundays match against the Ting Goes. Miki has failed to pass last nights medical test and was advised to rest for this Sunday. Miki Paunkoski is also set to return for next weeks match against Team B.

Goran Stojanovski is set to be on the sidelines for a period of at least 4 weeks after medical staff diagnosed him with Costochondritis after complaints of chest pain during this weeks training session. Goran has immediately began rehabilitation as we look to have him back and fit by Round 12 and in time for finals.

Expected Round 7 Squad:

33. Alexandar PETROVSKI (GK)

7. David JOVANOVSKI

9. Aleksandar NIKOLOSKI

17. Steven STANKOVSKI

27. Hristijan KAREVSKI

Our medical staff are working around the clock to ensure the health and fitness of our players is at an optimum level. We wish our players a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them back on the pitch soon. We would also like to wish the best of luck to this weeks team in the derby, go get them boys!
