Lions Ready for Finals!

After 2 weeks off over Queens Birthday long weekend and a forfeit win against UTIC United, our boys took it easy in the final round of the season to ensure there was no injuries for the finals the following week.

Our Lions fought hard but still went down after being 4-0 up against The Ting Goes, losing 6-8. Our boys took their foot off the pedal after a great start and that cost them the game, but our boys had no fear as they were more focused for next weeks finals. Christian Nastevski scored a hatrick, A.Nikoloski picked up a brace and S.Stankovski picked up one goal. The Lions were not phased and walked off the field with true sportsmanship.

After a long wait for the finals draw to be drawn, there was much controversy with 4th placed UTIC United being removed from the competition where they were suppose to face us in the Semi Finals, resulting in the Lions being drawn against arch rivals Untouchables. This fixture has shown and proven to be a fierce and competitive one with great football battles on the pitch, and great sportsmanship off the pitch.
